Job Description

The position involves designing and producing various marketing materials, including advertisements, collateral, signage, flash pieces, electronic brochures, and presentations, to reflect the brand’s image and style and drive hotel revenue. The candidate will partner with marketing managers and operational departments as part of a project team to provide design and conceptualization solutions. They must maintain familiarity with customer demographics to develop appropriate visuals for promotions and event-related collateral. Additionally, the role requires monitoring project progress, maintaining project files and archives, and providing ongoing communication to the marketing and project team. Execution of production-related tasks, such as printing, scanning, digital retouching, image editing, special effects, and file manipulation and layout, is also part of the job.

The role includes adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. The candidate is expected to engage with guests professionally, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation. Clear communication with team members and a commitment to quality assurance standards are essential. The position also involves physical tasks, such as moving, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Graphic Design.

Related Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Graphic Design.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.

License or Certification: None required.
