Job Description
As a Social Content Creator at Razorfish, you will craft social-first content that resonates with diverse audiences and stands out across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X for a major FinTech client. You will work with social strategists, community managers, and a creative director to leverage trending hashtags and cultural moments to generate engaging content that aligns with the brandβs voice.
Responsibilities
- **Trend Spotting & Ideation**: Stay ahead of social trends related to fintech, researching best-in-class examples and competitor content to translate insights into actionable ideas.
- **Content Development**: Collaborate on producing thumb-stopping short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories.
- **Pre-Production & Storyboarding**: Create storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- **Video Creation & Editing**: Capture and produce original video content, contributing to all phases including filming, editing, and sound design.
- **Creative Execution**: Develop branded style templates for social media assets ensuring a cohesive look across platforms.
- **On-Camera Hosting**: Lead interactive or trend-based content in front of the camera with enthusiasm.
- **Innovative Thinking**: Generate fresh, relatable, and shareable content focusing on fintech innovation and user value.
Requirements
- **Content Expertise**: Proven experience in photography, videography, and editing with a strong understanding of visual storytelling.
- **Platform Savvy**: In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content strategies, particularly in short-form video.
- **Creative Tools Mastery**: Proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) and familiarity with production equipment.
- **Visual Mindset**: Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and angles.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate creative direction effectively.
- **Fintech Knowledge**: Familiarity with fintech products and related consumer behaviors is advantageous.
- **Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Innovative Spirit**: Passion for creating boundary-pushing content that resonates with the digital audience.
- **Experience**: 3-5+ years working in social marketing in a creator or publishing role for a well-known brand or agency.
