Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery, where we create the content that inspires and enriches the lives of our audience. We are currently in the midst of transformation and seeking the next generation of innovators for CNN’s New Businesses team. This role of Staff Product Designer involves creating non-news and standalone products to drive CNN’s subscription business. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and strategic full-stack designer with extensive experience in cross-platform product design.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8+ years’ work experience as a cross-platform product designer, with at least 4 years working on native mobile experiences. Experience in media companies is a plus.
• Mastery of Figma and prototyping.
• Impeccable visual and interaction design skills.
• Expertise in creating and modifying components and utilizing a mature design system kit.
• Mastery of best UX design practices, including usability principles, user research methodologies, and testing techniques.
• Solid understanding of mobile and web technologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Extensive experience in program management tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

The Staff Product Designer will:

• Be an integral part of CNN’s New Businesses team, creating non-news and standalone products.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into best-in-class product experiences.
• Conduct rapid prototyping to test and validate product features and proof of concepts.
• Collaborate with product and user research on testing and research plans.
• Innovatively push the boundaries of CNN’s business.
• Manage projects and deadlines while pivoting as needed.

Additional Information

Benefits:

• Base pay of $103,600.00 - $192,400.00 per year.
