Job Description

Climax Studios was established nearly 30 years ago and has an extensive history in developing various digital experiences across all formats, winning multiple awards. Our Liverpool studio is located in the heart of the beautiful Albert Docks, overlooking the harbour. We are seeking an Experienced Technical Animator who is passionate about games, enjoys creativity, and is willing to push their boundaries. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of character integration into a UE5 project with state machine control.

Requirements

This role requires a thorough knowledge of character integration into a UE5 project with state machine control, including debugging and refining the state machine for character animation within the project.

• A thorough knowledge of UE5 animation systems, including state machines, animation graphs, blend trees, and blueprints.
• Animation and rigging skills would be a bonus but are not strictly necessary.
• Some experience with Maya and tools/scripting is a bonus but not strictly necessary.
• Must be a team player and open to feedback.
