Job Description

Teach for Thailand is seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join the Founding Team of Project Polaris, a social venture aimed at improving education quality through innovative solutions. As the Lead Designer, you will craft intuitive interfaces and impactful experiences that empower teachers and inspire students nationwide. You will have the creative freedom to lead the design vision, experiment with new ideas, and deliver scalable solutions for education, with a target to impact 100,000 students by the end of 2026.

Key Outcomes

  • Usability and Efficiency: Design intuitive interfaces to achieve a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 80+ and ensure 90%+ of users can complete core tasks efficiently and independently.
  • User-Centered Iteration: Continuously improve the user experience through feedback loops and usability testing.
  • Brand and Accessibility: Create visually engaging designs that are accessible to educators of varying proficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex challenges into simple, elegant solutions.
  • A strong design sense and keen understanding of user needs to create intuitive, accessible interfaces.
  • Excitement about experimenting and trying new approaches while emphasizing usability.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring ideas to life alongside a passionate team.
  • Open to emerging designers or those with years of experience; creativity, empathy, and passion for education are paramount.

Working Expectations
