Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist with experience delivering and managing data science models in a commercial setting to join us on a 9 month fixed-term contract. Data is one of five strategic pillars at N Brown and plays a vital role in key decisions across our organization. Our team utilizes modern cloud technologies to build award-winning data science solutions, making a significant and measurable impact, which is recognized by both colleagues and company reports.
As a Senior Data Scientist at N Brown, you will:
- Build and enhance Machine Learning models to drive competitive advantage.
- Enhance model governance for our data products.
- Code review and support the work of your colleagues.
- Produce compelling data stories backed by powerful visualizations.
- Contribute to an open, progressive, and passionate data community.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- An excellent understanding of ML frameworks, algorithms, and statistical methods.
- An excellent understanding of Python and SQL.
- Experience using AWS in a commercial setting.
- Exposure to the broader production ML lifecycle (an advantage).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
