Job Description

The Senior Video Editor is an advanced level role, responsible for the development and execution of video communications designed to impact POWER’s customers, candidates, and employees. This role leads in developing content ideas for the Brand Department through the post-production creative process, including collaboration with the creative team, compelling editing, and delivery of final products. The Senior Video Editor serves as a mentor to other editors and assists in developing and implementing departmental operating procedures and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High degree of technical proficiency in video editing tools and platforms
• Proficient in utilizing departmental tools and adhering to procedural standards
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
• Proficiency in building, leading, and developing individuals and teams
• 7-10 years experience in a post-production environment with emphasis on creative storytelling
• 7-10 years experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Audition)
• Proficiency in audio mixing and color correction
• Experience with team-based media asset management systems and project management software

Responsibilities

• Lead post-production responsibilities on assigned projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
• Drive cross-functionality in project development, goals, and creative approaches
• Oversee shot list development and production schedules
• Ensure effective project setup, asset management, and revisions
• Conduct planning and development meetings for assigned projects
• Ensure projects meet timelines and deliverables through effective communication
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Serve as a mentor to Video Editor and Junior Editor roles
• Track working time spent on projects for reporting purposes

Work Environment

The Senior Video Editor works in a hybrid office environment. Regular travel is required.
