We are looking for a skilled Shopify Website Developer to join us on a freelance, project-based basis to build a Shopify website that showcases our brand and delivers an exceptional online shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and launch a visually engaging, user-friendly Shopify website tailored to our clothing brand.
- Customize Shopify themes to reflect our brand identity and aesthetic.
- Implement e-commerce features, including product pages, collections, and a seamless checkout experience.
- Integrate essential third-party apps (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools, shipping solutions).
- Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and fast load times.
- Collaborate with our team to align the website design and functionality with our brand vision and business goals.
- Test, troubleshoot, and refine website functionality to ensure a flawless user experience.
- Provide post-launch support, documentation, or training to assist with ongoing website management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and developing Shopify websites, especially for fashion or clothing brands (preferred).
- Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and APIs for enhanced functionality.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and techniques for e-commerce.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
- Portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects (required).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to support website visuals.
- Experience with e-commerce marketing strategies, such as email campaigns and social media integrations.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics for tracking and reporting.
