Job Description

Project Role: Application Developer

The Application Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. This role involves close collaboration with other developers, designers, and architects to ensure configuration and custom components align with application requirements and performance goals.

The responsibilities of the Application Developer include:

• Performing detailed design of application and technology architecture components and classes.
• Configuring, building, and testing the application or technology architecture components and classes.
• Creating automated unit test scripts and integrating them into a continuous integration development process.
• Conducting code profiling to ensure compliance with application development standards.
• Checking code coverage of unit and assembly tests and ensuring it meets expectations.
• Documenting code during development to ensure maintainability.
• Documenting changes to the code for traceability and updating the traceability matrix or other requirements tracking tools.
• Informing the technology architect and project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
