Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager for a temporary position of up to 12 months. The role involves leading the delivery of the RNLI’s social media strategy across both paid and organic content, providing guidance to various stakeholders. The manager will oversee a team of social media specialists and drive social media fundraising efforts, community management, and crisis communication responses.

This position is full-time and remote, with a requirement to travel to Poole once a month and potentially participate in a social media rota that includes shifts between 9am-8pm on weekdays and some weekends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have substantial experience in leading both organic and paid social media content strategies within a large organization, along with experience in line management and stakeholder management. Immediate availability is preferred.

Additional Information

Salary: £40,315 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
