Job Description

We are a newly formed U.S. military veteran-based service organization seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and a passion for web design, ensuring that our online presence is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We aim to showcase a schedule of events with pictures and videos of our veteran support functions, as well as link QR codes to donation/fundraising accounts.

Duties include collaborating with clients and team members to understand project requirements, designing responsive web layouts using HTML and CSS, developing interactive features, utilizing content management systems, conducting data analysis, creating motion graphics, preparing wireframes and mockups, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and best practices in web design.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web development languages including HTML, CSS, and SQL.

• Strong understanding of UI principles and interaction design methodologies.

• Experience with content management systems for website management.

• Familiarity with motion graphics tools to create engaging visual content.

• Ability to use Visio for diagramming processes or workflows related to web projects.

• Excellent data analysis skills to assess website performance metrics.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
