Job Description
Simmons & Simmons is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with UI/UX knowledge to join our pioneering technology team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to transform the legal tech landscape. As a member of a newly created team, you will work closely with the firmβs AI Programme lead and the Champions network to innovate services and products. Your main responsibility will be collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and infrastructure developers to prototype, build, test, and deploy front ends for products powered by GenAI/LLM technology.
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess:
- A solid background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ years of professional experience with Large Language Models (LLM) / GenAI technology (e.g., OpenAI API, ChatGPT, GPT-4) and a minimum of 3 years in front-end development with an understanding of design and UX considerations.
- Experience in researching and applying UI/UX best practices.
- Strong coding skills in React, HTML, CSS/Tailwind, and API calls to a backend/APIM.
- A strong track record of building enterprise-grade front-end solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile practices.
- Familiarity with the Azure platform is preferred.
