Job Description

We’re seeking a talented part-time graphic designer who understands the importance of YouTube thumbnails, social media carousels, and title packaging.

Job Responsibilities:

• YouTube Thumbnails: Design high-converting thumbnails with a deep understanding of thumbnail psychology and audience behavior.
• Instagram Carousels: Create visually appealing and on-brand carousels that are optimized for engagement.
• Cover Photos & Banners: Design impactful YouTube channel art and social media cover photos.
• Collaborate closely with content creators and strategists to ensure designs align with overall branding and messaging.
• Incorporate title packaging techniques to make content more clickable.
• Adapt designs for various social media platforms when needed.
• Stay up to date with design trends, particularly for YouTube and Instagram.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in creating YouTube thumbnails and Instagram carousels.
• Strong understanding of thumbnail psychology and how design influences click-through rates.
• Knowledge of title packaging to ensure the visuals complement video titles for maximum impact.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• No degree required, but a strong portfolio is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with content creators or in the YouTube space.
• Ability to take feedback and iterate on designs quickly.
• A creative eye for typography, color schemes, and layout.
