Job Description
The role is for a Contemporary Web Designer with 5+ years of web/digital design experience, preferably in a Creative Agency. The position is based in Manchester with a hybrid working model consisting of 3 days in the studio and 2 days working from home. The studio operates from approximately 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and values a work-life balance, not engaging in late hours or pitching. The team believes in empathy as a key driving factor for design and works across various sectors including outdoors, luxury retail, hospitality, and the arts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in web design
- Graphic Design experience is a plus
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Conceptual thinking and typography skills
- Portfolio demonstrating passion for digital design
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective web design
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
