Job Description

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic digital agency based in Leeds, UK. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £44,000, along with hybrid working options and flexible hours, complemented by 26 days of holiday, a 10% Learning & Innovation budget, and up to 4 weeks a year to work from anywhere. As a Senior Web Designer, you will take a creative and strategic lead on exciting projects while collaborating with a talented team and a diverse range of clients to enhance web design standards.

Your responsibilities will include leading design workshops, conducting user interviews, and performing light user testing to gather actionable insights. You will create visually stunning and user-centric designs using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, develop wireframes, prototypes, and scalable design systems, and work in close collaboration with developers to ensure seamless design implementations. Additionally, you will have the chance to mentor junior designers and contribute to new business pitches, fully leading the UX and UI design process.

Under the guidance of the Creative Director, you will approach every project with enthusiasm and innovation, building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional design solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Strong UX and UI design expertise backed by a portfolio of impactful web design projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in developing design systems.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and working collaboratively within teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.
