Job Description

We are excited to announce an amazing opportunity for a talented photographer to join our Swadlincote Studio. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in both model and still-life photography, excellent lighting skills and a strong eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring that imagery standards for all product shots are maintained and in-line with the Liberty style guidelines with the aim of engaging with the customer and driving online sales. As our Senior Photographer, you will also be the first port of call for technical questions from other photographers and in charge of ensuring all photographic kit is maintained and kept in working order.

Requirements

• Previous experience in model and still-life photography.
• Excellent lighting skills.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Ability to maintain imagery standards in line with style guidelines.
• Experience in managing photographic equipment maintenance.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensuring all collections across categories are shot and lit in line with company guidelines to maximize sales.
• Processing all best and appropriate shots correctly to avoid delays.
• Maintaining high quality and consistency in color and lighting to minimize retouch needs.
• Performing quality control on selected images and providing retouch notes for retouch teams.
• Conducting quality control on images from other photographers and providing constructive feedback.
• Spot checking and auditing images online to ensure standards are consistently met.
• Managing the archiving of product images for accessibility by relevant departments.
• Collaborating with the studio team on priority products to be shot from the schedule.
• Supervising lighting and grey tests daily to ensure shot consistency.
• Ensuring sets are cleared and ready for the next day’s shoots.
• Working with the Studio Manager to implement new procedures for workflow improvement.
