Job Description

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Montreal, QC

Contract Type: Fixed term contract (6 months)

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/React/Database environment during regular India hours from Bangalore location. The candidate will work with SMEs, Business Analysts, module developers, and users to complete the end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client. Additional responsibilities will include contributing to the designing and documenting of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from the client. This role will also involve performing unit testing, integration testing, and UAT as necessary, and engaging with the client in requirement gathering, status updates on deliverables, and being a key stakeholder in the overall engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have prerequisites/skills:

• Excellent core Java skills with Angular development skills
• Good SQL skills with experience in any of the RDBMS databases
• Experience in RESTful, XML, JSON
• Good knowledge of using Java Messaging (MQ or any other messaging middleware)
• Excellent customer-facing skills, including conducting compelling technical briefings & demonstrations
• Technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate solutions to the customer

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong experience in developing multi-threaded and synchronization applications
• Experience using Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Bamboo, & related tools
• Understanding of DevOps and virtualization concepts
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to express design ideas and thoughts
