Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join an EdTech company based in the Southwest. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact the education of children worldwide. The company is looking to evolve its engineering team, and they require a frontend superstar to contribute to their product range.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional frontend skills, potentially with some backend capabilities when needed. A strong emphasis will be placed on Accessibility and UX, making these skills beneficial. The company is particularly interested in passionate individuals who are excited about working on products that change educational lives.

Requirements

• Exceptional frontend development skills, ideally in React, although experience with other frontend frameworks will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• A passion for working in the Tech4Good sector, especially on products that impact the education of children globally.
• The ability to work on backend projects as required.
• Solid understanding of Accessibility and UX.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working predominantly remotely or in a hybrid setup, preferably being Southwest-based.
• Effective communication skills for open and honest discussions within the team.

Additional Information

Salary: £65-85k. Occasional visits to a Southwest office are expected.
