Job Description

As a Content Creator, you will craft compelling content that captivates Australian and global audiences. From blog posts and website copy to newsletters and social media updates, you’ll showcase travel experiences while driving engagement and SEO performance. This role blends creativity, strategy, and technical expertise, requiring proficiency in AI tools, algorithms, and evolving SEO strategies.

Your Daily Tasks

• Research and write high-quality content, including blog posts, website copy, newsletters, and social media updates tailored to Australian audiences on tours, attractions, regions, and locations.

• Create compelling and engaging content that aligns with the brand, focusing on travel, destinations, and tours.

• Implement SEO strategies, including keyword research, internal and external linking, and meta tag optimization to enhance organic search performance.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency across all content platforms.

• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to keep content relevant and competitive.

• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics.

• Provide data-driven insights and adjust content strategies to improve engagement and lead generation.

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1-3+ years of experience in content creation for Australian companies, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.

• Strong research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging, relevant, and polished content.

• Solid understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), SEMRush, Canva, and other digital tools.

• Knowledge of linking and keyword strategies to improve search rankings and audience engagement.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) with a keen eye for detail and impeccable grammar.
