Senior Frontend Engineer - Contract
Location: Remote - United Kingdom
Contract Duration: 6-8 months

We’re an innovative Independent Power Producer (IPP) driving the transition to a sustainable future. As we expand our digital infrastructure, we’re looking for a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in React and Node.js to help build cutting-edge applications that optimize our renewable energy operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain dynamic, user-friendly web applications using React.
- Work on server-side logic and APIs using Node.js.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and energy experts to deliver seamless digital solutions.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability in a high-availability environment.
- Implement best practices for UI/UX and frontend architecture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express, and RESTful API integration.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
- Passion for clean energy and sustainable technology solutions.
