Job Title: Junior Java Developer
Location: 100% Remote (USA – Preferred candidates from New York, NY 10001)
Contract Type: Full-time, Contract-Based
Project Overview:
We are initiating a new Program Transformation project at Shared Health, focusing on transitioning networks, systems, and services from non-Shared Health systems to Shared Health. This high-visibility project will play a critical role in enhancing mental health and addiction services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Java applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
- Contribute to project planning and documentation
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in Java development.
- Familiarity with project management fundamentals, including planning, scoping, budgeting, milestone tracking, and risk management.
- Basic understanding of MS Project and other project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or mental health-related projects is a plus.
- Prior experience with Shared Health Manitoba is beneficial but not required.
