Job Description

Hi, my name is Cameron Smith, and I’m currently looking to hire some hand drawn animators to assist me with a project I’m directing, “Up a Tree” for the series Benny Dingo. This project is being developed at an indie animation level, with hopes to eventually transition it to a studio. This is a freelance indie one-time project for now, offering a starting rate of $50 per shot for rough animation. Price estimates can be discussed based on the complexity of the work.

I am specifically looking for film-level, preferably tradigital (traditional animation done digitally) style rough animation. A reference pack will be provided to give applicants an idea of the desired style. It is important that applicants can produce professionally done, high-quality, fluid animation work. If you cannot meet this standard, please do not submit an application.

Applicants are encouraged to share examples of their work in their proposals that align with the animation style references provided.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have experience in:

• Hand-drawn animation
• Tradigital (traditional style animation done digitally)
• Producing high-quality, fluid animation work
