Job Description

We are looking for a graphic design contractor to support the social media team’s many initiatives and projects, including social asset creation support, video editing, as well as additional visual design-related duties.

Key responsibilities include creating engaging social content graphics for multiple brands on various channels based on strategies provided by Social Media Managers, designing Instagram/Facebook Stories, brainstorming new templates, developing designs that reflect brand pillars, basic video editing, photography support, managing project production schedules, ensuring brand consistency, assisting during key campaigns, and monitoring social media updates to adapt creation strategies.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a graphic design role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating a spectrum of work & skill set.

Strong familiarity with design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), video editing software, and business software (Power Point, Keynote, Word, Pages).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Highly creative, with an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms.

Ability to work with various partners and team members across different projects.

Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid position in Chicago, IL, with 3 days a week likely required onsite.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr, with eligibility requirements applying to some benefits depending on job classification and employment length. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, and short and long-term disability among others.
