Job Description

The key responsibilities of this position are to develop, test, and implement new and existing systems to meet business needs and requirements. The role involves reviewing and improving the usability and performance of existing systems, as well as maintaining and upgrading them. The position requires providing support and training for both new and existing systems while collaborating with other developers, project managers, and business systems analysts.

Requirements

Candidates should produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code ensuring compliance with industry best practices and Civmec coding standards. It is essential to ensure thorough testing of code before and after deployment into UAT environments. The role requires troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly, along with researching and evaluating technical solutions to meet business requirements.

Additional requirements include contributing to the development and maintenance of automated testing, participating in code reviews, creating or updating technical documentation, maintaining support and configuration documentation, and updating DevOps tasks to reflect current work status for smooth workflow. Staying up to date with industry trends and technology developments is also necessary for this role. Lastly, performing other general duties as directed for operational requirements may be needed.
