Job Description
SheMed is a pioneering women’s health company dedicated to empowering women through accessible and comprehensive healthcare solutions. Our mission is to revolutionise women’s health services by providing personalised and innovative care, starting with our launch of the UK’s first female-focused GLP-1 programme! We are seeking a talented and passionate Web Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of design aesthetics and technical proficiency, enabling them to both conceptualise and build a dynamic website that reflects SheMed’s brand and mission. Experience with Webflow is essential.
Please note: This role requires you to attend the office, 5 days a week (Mon to Fri, 9am - 6pm) - Based in Euston, London.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design and development projects.
• Proficiency in Webflow; experience with other web-building platforms is a plus.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Strong eye for design, typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
• Ability to translate brand vision into compelling web designs in Figma and then translate that to Webflow.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for women’s health and commitment to SheMed’s mission.
What You’ll Work On
• Design and develop a responsive, user-friendly website that embodies SheMed’s brand identity and values.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling and functionality.
• Implement best practices in UI/UX to enhance user engagement and accessibility.
• Utilise Webflow to build and maintain the website, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance optimisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends and technologies to ensure the website remains current and innovative.
