Job Description
Join us as a Web & Graphic Designer and make an invaluable contribution to our Food Safety & Biosecurity! We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital and Web Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for digital media, excellent design skills, and a deep understanding of web design principles. This role involves creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs that enhance brand identity, optimize user experiences across various digital platforms, and support marketing, communications, and growth objectives.
What Youâll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing compelling visual designs for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, online ads, and other digital and print assets.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design elements.
- Designing wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and user expectations.
- Creating content such as graphics, illustrations, animations, and multimedia content for digital campaigns.
- Optimizing images and graphics for web performance while maintaining quality.
- Maintaining brand consistency and ensuring all digital designs align with Feraâs branding and visual identity.
- Adapting designs for various screen sizes and devices to ensure responsive and mobile-friendly layouts.
- Collaborating with marketing, sales, science, and development teams to execute projects.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- A BSc in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital and web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Magento, Drupal) and Digital Asset Management systems.
- Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web standards.
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout design, and branding principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
