Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Product Designer - Generative AI Experience to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity. Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, exploring user mental models, needs, expectations, use cases, and translate findings into actionable design insights toward Generative AI powered products.
- Design innovative and intuitive interaction models focusing on clarity, transparency, control, usability, and overall end-user experience.
- Explore and prototype novel interaction paradigms, such as natural language interfaces, conversational UI, AI-assisted creation workflows, and multimodal interactions.
- Create high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that showcase user journeys through Generative AI-powered features, lead design reviews, and provide constructive feedback to other designers.
- Contribute to research and definition of best practices for prompt engineering UX, developing user-friendly interfaces for crafting effective prompts, refining AI outputs, and managing prompt libraries.
- Collaborate closely with senior product designers, service designers, engineers, and product managers, effectively communicating design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our design system, focusing on patterns and components specific to AI interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of recent experience applying User Centered Design methodologies with a strong emphasis on complex product design (AI-related product design experience is a significant advantage).
- Bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience in user research and usability validation testing methods, with formal grounding in Human-Centered Design (HCD), Product Design, Experience Design, and UX design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Mural; experience working in an Agile design/development environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving skills, and a user-centered approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
