Position Overview: We are seeking a talented YouTube Video Editor specializing in high-retention editing. This role involves creating dynamic, engaging content focused on YouTube’s fast-paced style, utilizing expertise in SFX, sound effects, and motion graphics to enhance digital content. The position is a contract role for 90 days, with potential for extension based on performance.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years as a videographer/video editor with a strong portfolio of high-retention YouTube videos, SFX, and motion graphics. Experience with Sony equipment is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, focusing on YouTube-style editing.
Creative Skills: Strong storytelling ability through video with experience in creating engaging, fast-paced content for YouTube.
SFX & Sound Effects Expertise: Demonstrated ability to use sound effects to enhance videos and keep viewers engaged.
Motion Graphics: Proficiency in integrating motion graphics into videos to elevate the visual experience.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality content under tight deadlines.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with our Vancouver team.
