Job Description
This is a 6-month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension. This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients, including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more.
You will be responsible for writing clear, concise, and persuasive copy for our B2B clients (including Uber for Business, merchants, and drivers). You’ll need a creative yet organized approach, with experience in writing email campaigns or CRM content. Your writing will focus on business-to-business communication, emphasizing clarity, strategy, and conversion. You’ll work within the Personalised Content team, collaborating across departments to produce high-quality, impactful content.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and optimize email and CRM content for B2B clients, including Uber for Business and merchant partners.
- Develop subject lines, CTAs, headlines, and body copy that engage B2B audiences and drive action.
- Translate complex, strategic briefs into clear, actionable content that aligns with the goals of the campaign.
- Collaborate with creative, design, and account teams to ensure integrated content that’s on-brand and aligned with overall strategy.
- Work across multiple platforms (email, CRM, newsletters) to produce consistent and high-quality content.
- Develop fresh, strategic perspectives for B2B messaging, ensuring it resonates with the intended business audiences.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of copywriting experience, especially focused on B2B communications (email, CRM, etc.).
- Strong experience in creating email content or CRM campaigns with measurable success.
- A solid understanding of B2B communication strategy and the ability to write for a variety of business audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of creativity, while maintaining organized and structured content.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar copy-design workflow tools is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt your writing style based on audience and context.
