Book Digital Illustrations

I am seeking a digital illustrator for a personal project involving my book, which features 20 short stories about a scholarly dog named Guido. The main task is to digitally insert Guido into a series of historical public domain images, creatively harmonizing him within each unique background. I have specific ideas on how that should be done, and I need someone familiar with style transfer techniques and digital compositing, particularly using tools like OpenArt or Adobe Sensai.

The project will last up to a week, and I will require some in-person support in the Saratoga Springs or Schenectady, NY area. If you are a beginner to mid-level artist with a strong understanding of digital illustration styles, I would love to see your work and discuss this project further.
