Job Description

Jagex has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Full-stack Engineer to join our tooling team. Your mission? To help craft and maintain the tools and infrastructure that supercharge the Games Operations department (Player Support, Anti-Cheat & Localisation). We’re a Scrum team of 7 people, including Full-stack Engineers, a Researcher, and an Analyst, and we work closely with other teams at Jagex to deliver the company vision.

The role involves working closely with our Engineers to create various workflows and systems such as applications, APIs, and scheduled data ingestions. Responsibilities include managing the systems architecture and infrastructure, contributing to key department initiatives, developing features independently, and collaborating with Senior Engineers on larger projects.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a full-stack engineer.

• Experience working with different programming languages, ideally across both front-end and back-end technologies.

• A passion for technology and a strong willingness to learn.

• An understanding of agile principles and values, with the ability to implement them.

• A proactive mindset focused on enhancing the customer experience.

• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and support the company vision.
