Job Description
The Test Software Engineer will develop and maintain test programs for RF component testing, interfacing with various test equipment and automated systems. The role requires expertise in Delphi, C++, and object-oriented coding, along with experience in software development, debugging, and maintaining legacy programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test programs for RF component testing.
- Interface with test equipment like DC power supplies, Network Analyzers, and automated robotics.
- Design, develop, and debug software in Delphi and object-oriented coding.
- Maintain and update legacy Delphi programs.
- Develop web applications and database reporting in Delphi/C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware engineers, technicians, NPI teams).
- Provide software installation, troubleshooting, and user training.
- Support network troubleshooting and test room software needs.
- Document software functionality and conduct peer code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in test development software engineering.
- Proficiency in Delphi and C++; experience in C#, Java, VB, SQL, or JSP is a plus.
- AS/400 experience is highly preferred.
