Job Description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as an Army Public Affairs Mass Communication Specialist (46S). In this role, youโ€™ll supervise and assist in the administration of Army public affairs programs by researching, preparing, and distributing news releases, articles, web-based material, and photographs on Army personnel and activities. Responsibilities include gathering information within your unit and around the Army, developing ideas for news articles, arranging and conducting interviews, writing news releases, feature articles, editorials, and conducting media training. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
  • Age range: 17 to 34 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines.
  • No Major Law Violations.
  • No Medical Concerns.
  • 28 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training.
  • 26 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
  • 105 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT).
