I am looking for a mid-level actress for my student film, Aarambh, which follows Naina, a young woman on her journey of self-discovery. The character requires a strong emotional range, showcasing vulnerability, resilience, and subtle expressions. I need someone who can convey complex emotions through body language and dialogue while being sensitive to South Asian cultural nuances. Collaboration with the team will be essential, as we aim for an intimate and reflective style that emphasizes emotional authenticity.

The actress will be required to be on location in New York for up to a week. I am seeking someone who can adapt to slower, introspective scenes and shift between emotional states effectively. If you have experience in delivering authentic performances in emotionally-driven narratives, I would love to hear from you.

The pacing will be deliberate, allowing the audience to connect with the emotional transitions and the themes of personal growth. I’m Gianna Mago, a first-year college student studying filmmaking. I have a deep passion for storytelling, especially when it comes to creating emotionally-driven narratives. My student film Aarumbh is an example of this, where I focus on character development and themes of self-discovery and personal growth. As an aspiring filmmaker, my goal is to become one of the biggest directors in India . I’m committed to developing my skills and vision, and I’m excited about the journey ahead in the world of cinema.
