Zenfreed, LLC - Programmer Analyst - PowerBuilder Developer

Database Developer is needed in Lansing, United States.

Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.

Requirements

10 years:

• Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.
• Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.
• Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
• Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.
• Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.

5 years:

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.
• Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT.
• Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.
• Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
• Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.

Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering,

or related IT discipline

• Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule).

• Position is a hybrid schedule with onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule which is onsite 2 days a week (Wednesdays are mandatory to be onsite. The other onsite day can be flexible.). NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

• Working hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position

• 40 hrs per week
