Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative graphic design assistant to join our dynamic team at BTS, a global professional services firm headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong creative flair, and proficiency in PowerPoint, with a solid foundation in basic design principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills by working alongside senior designers on various design projects across both digital and print media.

Key Responsibilities

• Design engaging presentations and pitch decks in PowerPoint, including custom templates and layouts for both client and internal use.
• Collaborate with experienced designers to develop creative concepts and execute on design projects.
• Assist in the creation of graphic design materials such as participant guides, workshop activities, brochures, posters, and social media marketing, ensuring all designs meet BTS’s quality requirements.
• Support the design team in maintaining consistent brand identity and visual standards across all materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share fresh ideas and design perspectives.
• Organise and maintain design files and assets, ensuring easy accessibility for team use.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Preferred education: A tertiary certification, degree, or diploma in graphic design / visual communication.
• Experience: Demonstrated design experience in a commercial environment (in-house or agency side), with 1-3 years preferred.
• Nice to have: Fundamental experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
• Creative flair for design with a strong visual aesthetic and ability to translate concepts into innovative designs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including knowledge of creating visually compelling presentations, layouts, and infographics.
• Basic understanding of design principles, e.g., typography, colour theory, layout, composition, visual hierarchy.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines with attention to detail ensuring consistent and polished designs.
• Good time-management with the ability to prioritise and pivot across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and build successful partnerships with internal stakeholders.
