Job Description

Our client is seeking a Web Developer in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves supporting and performing planning, design, development, illustration, publication, and distribution of basic technical publications, including procedures and manuals. The Web Developer will also support the balloting process, coordinate with team members, and manage multiple engaging websites for both mobile and desktop devices. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining assigned websites as updates are needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Typically has less than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Web Development Technologies, specifically HTML.
• Experience with CSS and PHP (including Bootstrap 5 and/or other mobile responsive frameworks).
• Ability to work with and animate large tables of data for ease of use and accessibility on mobile devices.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, ReactJS, UX design, and web crawlers.
• Strong independent work and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and publication of technical documents, including revision services.
• Coordinate with the writing team for the final publication of documents onto the web.
• Develop new websites and perform routine support and maintenance of existing websites.
• Complete special web projects as needed and maintain communication with team members.
