Job Description

UCAS is the world’s leading shared admissions service for higher education, connecting people to universities and colleges in the UK. We provide application services, research, consultancy, and advisory services to various stakeholders, including schools, colleges, and employers. The business unit, led by Chief Communications and Marketing Officer Dave Penney, encompasses functions such as UCAS Media education and industry sales, marketing, digital operations, events, partnerships, apprenticeships, public affairs, and insights. This unit aims to support the charitable objectives of UCAS and operate UCAS Media to generate revenue.

This role focuses on supporting the sale, service, and delivery of UCAS’s rapidly growing Paid Media and display proposition, with a primary emphasis on paid social channels while also receiving training in onsite digital display.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create and deliver Paid Media and onsite display campaigns across digital marketing platforms.
  • Interpret campaign briefs accurately, translating information into effective campaigns.
  • Create test plans to seek the best campaign outcomes.
  • Manage multiple campaigns at different stages effectively.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to campaign success.
  • Support sales teams and clients with media planning and technical queries.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms for campaign building.
  • Previous digital marketing experience.
  • Technical/logical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in various modes of communication.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
  • Effective planning, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Excel or similar data manipulation for reporting.
  • Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Highly motivated to learn and grow.
