Job Description

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a keen understanding of social media trends, public relations, and the ability to communicate effectively across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and customer feedback to inform strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
• Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and report findings.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand relevant in the digital space.
• Manage public relations efforts related to social media campaigns and brand reputation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube).
• Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics software.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design aesthetics.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
