Job Description

Orca Creative Team is seeking experienced freelance videographers to capture weddings in Boston and throughout Massachusetts. The primary responsibility will be to record weddings and elopements, while the team will manage administrative tasks such as culling and editing. Freelancers will represent the Orca Creative Team and must provide outstanding customer service, document events with a photojournalistic approach, and help couples feel confident during shoots.

Requirements

Experience: At least 10 weddings as lead photographer; 4 years of videography experience; 2 years of wedding experience.

Skills: Understanding of natural light, audio recording, and drone operation.

Willingness to travel: 75%.

Equipment Requirements for Freelance Wedding Videographer:

• Two (2) Full Frame Cameras with Dual Memory Card Slots
• Variety of Prime and Zoom Lens with f/2.8 or lower
• Audio Equipment (Lavalier Microphone and External Recorder)
• Lighting Equipment
• Drone

Equipment Requirements for Assistant Wedding Videographer:

• One (1) Camera with Dual memory card slots
• Tripod with Video Fluid Head
• Prime lenses with large apertures (f/1.2, f/1.4, or f/1.8)
• Zoom lenses with aperture of 2.8
• Audio Recorder (1 Lavalier Microphone)
