Job Description

At BearJam, we are entering an exciting new chapter as an award-winning production company focused on redefining creative excellence. We are seeking to hire a temporary motion designer/animator to join our creative team and work across various video content projects, including live action and fully animated pieces. This role will report to the Creative Lead and is dual-focused, involving the origination of style frames and storyboards or crafting animations in Adobe After Effects. The ideal candidate will display a clear passion for design and animation, contributing to the wider creative process, including ideation and pre-production input.

Requirements

• Strong technical skills and experience in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

• 2 - 3+ years of motion and design experience backed by a professionally or personally strong portfolio.

• Consistent, positive attitude with the ability to set clear expectations to teams and clients.

• High levels of initiative, capability to work autonomously to meet objectives and responsibilities.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining calm and effective leadership.

• Natural organizational ability and aptitude to multitask, adapting quickly to changing projects.

• Excellent creative eye and a passion for motion design.

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven experience creating video content optimized for various digital media platforms.

• Understanding of narrative storytelling and confident with Mac hardware and software.
