Developer is needed in Atlanta, United States.

This is a remote position.

ON SITE: Currently the majority of the role is remote however the candidate there may be requests to come into the office “as needed” and they will need to pick up any equipment IN PERSON if selected for the role. Local Richmond candidates preferred.

SharePoint developer to migrate the agency’s existing Drupal Intranet site into a SharePoint site. Will also help to identify SharePoint governance processes for the agency.

This position is up to 12 months with the option of extension. The client is located in Richmond, VA.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

hands on and recent SharePoint development exp Required 7 Years

Strong verbal and written communication skills Required 7 Years

Experience with Drupal 7 Highly desired 1 Years

SharePoint Developer - resource will be responsible for migrating our existing agency Drupal Intranet site over to a SharePoint site. Responsible for migrating existing functionality into a SharePoint site.

Responsible for working with agency IT and Business stakeholders to determine existing features/functions which need to be migrated.

Develop a roadmap plan for the migration/development of the new SharePoint site.

Identify and document the architecture of the new site.

Migrate or develop functionality of the new intranet site.

Work with Division content owners and mentor them on how to manage their own content.

SharePoint Governance:

Assist the agency in developing and documenting SharePoint governance processes for other SharePoint sites across the agency.
