Job Description

A music teaching agency based in North West London is seeking competent private music teachers to join our team. We prioritise fun, engaging, and high-quality music education for our students.

Responsibilities include:

• Teachers MUST TRAVEL to students and conduct in-person lessons (30, 45, or 60 minutes) during weekday afternoons and/or weekends at students’ locations in NW London.
• Maintain punctuality and clear communication with students and their parents/guardians.
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging environment that helps children enjoy learning music.
• Plan and deliver lessons that are both engaging and educational, particularly for beginners.
• Prepare students for and attend termly student recitals.
• Create engaging tutorial videos, blog posts, or other multimedia content to support student learning.

Requirements

Qualifications for the role include:

• Must be able to travel to students for lessons—this role does not offer remote or in-studio teaching.
• Minimum Bachelor of Music degree with strong English communication skills.
• Experience teaching beginners and young children; knowledge of grade exams is highly desirable.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential—teachers must commit to fixed weekly lesson times.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
