Job Overview:
We are looking to hire an expert to enhance the functionality, visual aesthetics, and overall user experience of our company website: https://www.vhelbhergimperialhotel.com. For this project, we will hire a candidate required for a specific duration to complete the website improvement and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have experience in web design, user experience (UX, creativity, SEO, and website performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Visual Design
   Redesign the website with a fresh, modern look, improving the layout and feel.

• Update the visuals using our new company images.

2. User Experience (UX) & Navigation
   Make the website easier to navigate:

• Adding dropdown menus and reorganizing the content for better accessibility.
• Improve the links within the site to help users move smoothly between pages.
• Implement a sticky navigation bar for improved usability on long pages.
• Ensure the website loads quickly and works smoothly across all devices (laptop/mobile/IPAD or tablet).

3. Content Management & Scalability
   Add a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress or Webflow so staff can easily update content, blog posts, and other parts of the website without needing technical skills.

• Set up a blog section which would be maintained by staff.
• Set up a section for client testimonials which can be maintained by staff.
• Incorporate the company’s updated mission and values into the website.

4. SEO Optimisation
   Improve search engine rankings by optimizing keywords and meta tags on each page.

• Use strategic and specific keywords to help our websites appear more often in search results.

5. Website Performance & Technical Enhancements
   Perform page speed optimization (e.g., image compression, JavaScript/CSS minification).
   Make sure the website is mobile-friendly by incorporating easy-to-use touch elements.
   Provide guidance to the team on how to check and resolve for broken links and site error.

6. Security, Analytics & Feedback
   SSL certificate validity and advice on security protocols.
   Set up Google Analytics (or similar tools) properly to track website data. Provide guidance to the team on how to keep track of these in the future.
   Add a “Feedback” page to gather insights from visitors and help improve the website.

Required Skills & Experience:

• You should have 2 years+ experience and a portfolio of websites you’ve worked on that you can share with us.
• A relevant degree.
• Strong background in web design and UX/UI.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices.
• Experience with website performance tools.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or other tracking platforms.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience with WordPress or Webflow CMS integration to enable easy content management.
