Job Description

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Montreal, QC

Contract

In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/React/Database environment during regular India hours from the Bangalore location. The candidate will work with SMEs, Business Analysts, module developers, and users to complete the end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Clients. Additional responsibilities will include contributing to the design and documentation of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from the Client. The role also involves performing unit testing, integration testing, and UAT as required, as well as engaging with the Client in requirement gathering, status updates on deliverables, UAT, and being a key stakeholder in the overall engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications: BE/B Tech/MCA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have prerequisites/skills:

  • Excellent core Java skills with Angular development skills.
  • Good SQL skills with experience in any of the RDBMS databases.
  • Experience in RESTful, XML, JSON.
  • Good knowledge of using Java Messaging (MQ or any other messaging middleware).
  • Excellent customer-facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefings & demonstrations.
  • The candidate should have a technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in developing multi-threaded and synchronization applications.
  • Experience using Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Bamboo, and related tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps and virtualization concepts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to express design ideas and thoughts.

Additional Information

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
