The Lumistella Company is a global intellectual property company dedicated to bringing Santa’s North Pole to life for children around the world through consumer products, original entertainment, and brand experiences. We are home to the most iconic and beloved Christmas brands of this generation including The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and Elf… Mates.
The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor will play a pivotal role in supporting the SEP-Animation Team, Art, and Marketing by crafting and editing engaging video content. This role focuses on editing high-quality assets for various internal and external uses, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications. The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor is responsible for translating creative ideas/scripts into cohesive visual narratives, ensuring that each video aligns with the artistic vision and meets high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to develop and execute video projects, incorporating feedback to refine content, and effectively communicating project schedules.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, with experience in marketing campaigns, entertainment, and animated content.
- Experience with storytelling and continuity.
- Experience with 2D and 3D Animation production processes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; knowledge of Adobe Animate is a plus.
- Knowledge of audio editing software such as Adobe Audition.
- The ability to receive constructive criticism and make artistic adjustments.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A capacity to quickly learn the brand and develop a deep understanding of the characters and world.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs.
- The ability to stay organized, punctual, and capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortability asking questions and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- An extensive portfolio with examples of current video editing and motion graphics.
Education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Film, Mass Communications, or a related field (preferred).
