Social-first agency WE THE PEOPLE is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Designer/Art Director (Mid-Weight) to join our growing team in Melbourne. Our agency helps brands to Own The Moment, believing that the right mix of speed, culture, and creativity is essential to capturing attention on social and digital platforms. We proudly work with leading brands such as Arnott’s Biscuits, Jetstar, Target, Amazon, Cobram Estate, and Priceline.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Design/Art Director role.

• Expert proficiency in the Adobe Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro).

• A strong portfolio of high-quality digital-focused commercial work, ideally with prior experience in social.

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Strong communication skills to confidently share ideas and present work to team members and clients.

• Strong organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed on tight deadlines.

• A proactive approach to work and delivering great results for clients.

• Previous experience in an agency environment will be viewed positively.

Additional Information

• You will be supporting the Creative Editorial & Campaign teams to develop stunning visual outcomes for client partners across a range of campaigns and social outputs.

• Responsibilities include working across brands to develop digital/social-focused campaigns, conceptualising and storyboarding creative directions, visualising and crafting high-quality artwork, presenting design responses to client briefs, and collaborating with team members based on performance data.

• This role is part-time (2-3 days) based in Melbourne, and you must have the legal right to live/work in Australia.
