Job Description

Job Title: Content Creator for Luxury Bridal Outlet

Location: Holmfirth, West Yorkshire + Travel to York Store (minimum 1 day per month)

Job Type: Part-Time (20 Hours per week - Flexibility on days/hours)

With a curated collection of elegant bridal gowns, accessories, and an in-house team of experts, we aim to create memories that last a lifetime. We are looking for a creative and passionate Content Creator to join our team and help elevate our online presence through engaging, fun, and high-quality content across social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Creating Content:

  • Film and photograph in-house team members, day-to-day activities, and new stock arrivals.
  • Capture fun and engaging shots of products and events to maintain a fresh and vibrant online presence.
  • Develop creative concepts for photoshoots and videos, ensuring brand consistency.

Editing Content:

  • Edit and enhance video content using Instagram, TikTok, or other editing software to ensure high-quality and on-brand visuals.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and creativity to ensure that all content aligns with the nature of the brand.

Scheduling Social Media Posts:

  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to create and schedule posts across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Write captivating captions that align with the brand voice and engage the audience.
  • Execute planned content calendars, ensuring posts go live on time and as per the planned schedule.

Community Management:

  • Actively monitor and engage with comments, likes, and shares from our followers, especially brides.
  • Respond to queries and foster positive relationships with our community, creating an inviting atmosphere for brides-to-be.

Responding to Social Media Messages:

  • Respond to direct messages and inquiries on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  • Offer assistance and support to brides, helping them feel connected with the brand.

Travel to York Store (1 Day per Month):

  • Visit the York store minimum once a month to collaborate with the team, capture on-the-ground content, and highlight store-specific activities.
  • Work closely with the store team to ensure content reflects the boutique atmosphere and brand values.

Reporting:

  • Confident in using analytics to inform decisions, track performance, and refine strategies for maximum engagement.
  • Pull analytics to report successes to management in monthly meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation, especially for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • A display of past work showcasing content creation, video editing, and photography skills.
  • Innovative thinker: A self-starter full of bold ideas, ready to take initiative and experiment.
  • Proficiency with social media editing software and tools such as Canva, Capcut, etc.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and on-brand captions.
  • Comfortable being in front of the camera and participating in content creation.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a community of brides and potential customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to storytelling through visual content.
  • A passion for bridal, fashion, weddings, and luxury brands is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the York store for content creation (minimum 1 day per month).
