Job Description

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Design Team as a UX/UI Designer. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the user experience and interface design, utilizing your skills and expertise in creating visually stunning and intuitive interfaces. Your contributions will ensure the delivery of high-quality results to our global user base, promoting user satisfaction and engagement. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Responsibilities

• User-Centric Design: Lead the user experience and interface design for the product suite, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketers and developers, to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions; stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Visual Design: Develop visually appealing and on-brand interfaces; create high-fidelity mockups and design assets for implementation.
• Collaboration: Work with development teams to ensure the feasibility of design solutions and provide necessary support during implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience with prototyping tools and techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Compensation

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $35 - $45 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of the offer, if applicable, and are based on several factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
