Job Description

Green Flag Digital is a small boutique content marketing studio experiencing growth due to increased client demand. We are in search of a talented Content Marketing & Digital PR Specialist to help create and promote visually appealing data studies for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a T-shaped marketer who enjoys wearing different hats and can think both creatively and analytically. This role involves significant email outreach for media placements and content creation.

Your time will primarily be divided into: 50% email outreach for media placements, 25% content creation & ideation, and 25% project management & strategy.

Job Requirements

We are looking for senior applicants with compensation commensurate to experience. The ideal candidate should fulfill the following qualifications:

  • A creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background.
  • A PR specialist with a passion for media outreach.
  • Exceptional and fast email management skills.
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements.
  • Ability to predict audience preferences with an editorial mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field (flexible with degrees in English, History, Math, Computer Science, and General Business).

Responsibilities

  • Research trends and media.
  • Brainstorm and manage content marketing campaigns.
  • Pitch media - journalists and bloggers for approximately 15-20 hours a week.
  • Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high-fidelity content.
  • Develop an editorial calendar, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve content.
  • Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Analyze web traffic metrics
